Q: What is HotCosts?A: The Internet provides easy access to the websites of hundreds and hundreds of artisan wineries. Our mission is to help you make informed purchasing decisions on these wines.
Q: Is this a weekly wine club I have to buy from all the time?
A: No. Buy as little as you want, whenever you want. The decision is up to you!
Q: If I like the wine, can I buy more later?
A: Well, yes and no. At these prices, you've got to purchase them during the promotion but you can always get more directly from the winery. However, the promotional pricing will not be found on the winery's website.
Q: What happens after I place an order?
A: Orders completed on our site are then directed to the winery for immediate shipment. HotCosts does not hold any inventory, ship to the consumer nor produce wine.
Q: How will I know when my wine has been shipped?
A: The winery will send you notification of shipment and a tracking number to your eMail address. They will include instructions on how to call them if further contact is needed.
Q: What if I cannot be home during normal business hours to receive my wine shipment?
A: Since an adult signature is required by law to receive a wine package, many of our customers have their wine shipments sent to their workplace.
Q: What are the advantages of purchasing wines on HotCosts.com?
A: First, you get access to wines that have very limited availability. Second, prices usually INCLUDE SHIPPING FEES (plus the wine is shipped from the winery's cellar to your door ensuring the best quality possible). Lastly, HotCosts provides an unbiased opinion of the wine being offered through our blind tasting format, allowing you to make an informed purchasing decision.
Q: I only see one item, do you sell anything else?
A: No. We sell one item until it sells out.
Q: How often do you change items?
A: The longest any item will be on our website is 1 week. However, most wines sell-out before that.
Q: Why should I join your mailing list?
A: We recommend you join our mailing list to make sure you are notified of a new featured wine before it is sold out. No purchase required. We only send out notices when new wines are available, if we are trying to improve our website or if a winery is looking for feedback. We will never share our list with third parties. Q: Is HotCosts a distributor or retailer?
A: Neither. HotCosts is a winery-direct promotional website. Winery is the seller of record. HotCosts is acting as the agent for the consumer in all transactions. All state and federal laws are adhered to in the marketing of this wine.
