Suggested food pairing for Ackerman Family Vineyards 2003 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

BBQ Lamb Chops

INGREDIENTS:
  • 10 1-inch thick Lamb Chops
  • Freshly cracked sea salt and pepper
  • 2 tbs. Olive oil
  • 8 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 3 cloves garlic
PREPARATION/COOKING:

1. Marinate Lamb Chops for 2 hours in refrigerator with salt, pepper, olive oil, rosemary and crushed garlic.

2. Remove Lamb Chops from refrigerator and warm to room temperature (about half an hour).

3. Light BBQ and set temperature to medium-high heat.

4. Grill in covered BBQ for about 3-5 minutes per side.

5. Remove the chops from the grill when you reach an internal temperature of 140 F.

6. Let the meat rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Serves 4-6
