HotCosts Tasting NotesOur mission is to provide unbiased opinions of the wine being offered. These notes come from up to 10 guests who tasted this wine in a blind tasting format (wine is concealed so their identity is unknown). Why this format? Tasting blind completely throws out any hype associated with a certain winery, style, price point, etc; it forces the taster to accept what is in the glass without any predetermined notions.Our tasters are not wine professionals, but a cross-representation of professions where the common denominator is our love for wine. We utilize Robert Parker's Glossary of Wine Terms to help write our comments. In addition, we utilize the wine aroma wheel to enhance our ability to describe the complexity of wine flavor. MS: I get some lemmon grass flavors. Very long, dry finish. I love the effervescence this wine has!
TC: Great flavor and finish with lots of acid to the back of the mouth. Dry but lots of fresh yellow fruit flavors.
MA: Light straw yellow and small bubbles in apperance, this wine has a nice peach and flower nose and taste. Fruity but dry with a medium-long crisp finish. This wine has a lot of character. White wine drinkers will love this wine
BW: Fruity nose. Very smooth with lots of fruit flavor. Medium finish. Not sweet, dry.
KW: Great fruit flavors, like peach and a bit of fresh cut flowers. I love how the tiny bubbles bring out the flavors. Very long dry finish. Great!
RA: Fresh yellow fruits like peach. A slight floral scent. Long dry finish. Really liked it.
