About this wine

This year the wine is much truer to its Tuscan roots than any of our previous vintages. The flavors of the wine are pure Sangiovese with black cherry, plum and hints of spice. Aromatically, it shows violets, ripe forest berries and notes of vanilla. On the palate it displays its pedigree as it is very rich and has luxurious textures.

Food and wine

The 2006 Sangiovese displays the varietals lively textures, which make it a perfect pairing for chicken, grilled and roasted meats, hearty pastas, and most dishes which include Parmesan cheese, tomatoes and basil.
