Featured Wine Of The Week:

2002 Super Tuscan. Produced by Deerfield Ranch Winery.

Gold Medal Winner in the 2007 International Wine Competion in Houston, Tx. A Perfect wine to celebrate the 4th of July with!

About The Featured Wine

The 2002 Super T-Rex, a Tuscan style blend of 71% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet and 4% Dolcetto has a bit more Cab Franc than the 2001 vintage. This gives the wine more thrust in the upper palate, taking flavors and aromas into your nasal cavity like chocolate. Its a bit fuller, more fruit forward and a bit darker than the 01 Super T-Rex. It was almost three years in the barrel and almost 3 years in the bottle stored safely in Deerfield Ranch's cellars.
